Men who smoke more than a pack of cigarettes each day are almost 40% more likely to suffer from impotence according to a new study. In the study, ten percent of the subjects were impotent, but those who smoked were much more likely to suffer from the affliction. Those who smoked more cigarettes were increasingly likely to experience impotence. source

A doctor from the University of Washington Medical School was killed when he was dragged from his canoe in Botswana by a crocodile. The doctor’s wife witnessed the attack from a separate canoe. The doctor and his wife had moved to Botswana to help treat patients in a country that suffers the world’s highest rate of AIDS infection.

A Virginia high school teacher was arrested Monday after allegedly giving one of his students marijuana. According to police, the teacher gave a student a small amount of pot last Friday. The student, instead of smoking it, gave the pot to a school security officer.

A poster on Blogger has revealed how cell phone customers can get out of a service contact without paying an early termination fee. By using roaming minutes for 51% or more of calls for three months, most carriers will drop you as a customer because you are costing them more money than they’re making. Unlike when a customer initiates the cancellation, when a carrier cancels a contract, there’s no fee involved.

Americans are twice as likely to buy a new wine with an animal on the label as one without. The trend was started 5-years-ago when the Australia’s Yellow Tail came out. It featured a kangaroo and the label, and became a quick seller. Since then, new wines have appeared with monkeys, fish, and even a loon on the label. source

Australia’s Industrial Relations Commission on Friday approved new workplace rules for strippers which give the women meal breaks, overtime, and maternity leave. Work shifts will now be a maximum of 10 hours. Some strippers have been critical of the union in the past saying its demands for work concessions could lead to job losses. source
