A cat in Arkansas lived through a tornado that destroyed its family’s mobile home and also a subsequent fire. After the tornado ripped through the mobile home, the cat took refuge in a pile of debris. When someone set fire to the debris the cat later emerged singed, dirty, and smelly. AP Story

To get the trademark, the ham must come from pigs of a certain weight and it must be aged in carefully controlled rooms. A young woman in India gave birth on the toilet of a moving train, with the newborn baby girl falling onto the tracks below. Toilets on Indian trains usually have just a hole that lets everything just fall down onto the tracks. In this case, the emergency stop was pulled on pulled and a search mounted for the flushling. One and a half hours later the newborn was discovered on the tracks alive.
Some alcoholic Aboriginal parents have so neglected their children that the hungry kids were forced to breastfeed from dogs to survive. The impoverished communities offer nothing to do to the downtrodden residents who spend their time drinking and taking drugs.
Two children in Australia had the unfortunate experience of watching a 16 foot python swallow their family dog. When the parents were called, only the Chihuahua’s tail and back legs were hanging out of the the 110 pound snake’s mouth. Wildlife experts plan to relocate the snake to the wild after it poops out the dog.
A Michigan restaurant is hoping to find a place in the record books for its 134 pound hamburger. In addition to beef, the burger includes bacon, cheese and a fifty pound bun. During cooking the patty required three men to flip it.
Starbucks will close all stores Tuesday from 5:30pm to 8:30pm to train employees. The chain plans to instill a focus on its customers who will at the same moment be a block away buying coffee at Dunkin’ Donuts.
