A patient at Mercy Medical Center in New York who was misdiagnosed with breast cancer died a day after a double mastectomy. Her lab results were switched with another woman’s which resulted in the unneeded surgery which killed her.

A Turlock, California, police officer has been put on paid administrative leave for allegedly sexually assaulting a 17-year-old high school student who was the victim of a sexual assault by her 35-year-old teacher. A hospital in Australia is in hot water after putting a miscarried fetus into a bag containing the mother’s belongings. The 18-weeks pregnant woman was taken to the hospital with bleeding where she lost the baby. During recovery the woman reached into the bag of personal belongings given her by the hospital and discovered her miscarried baby.
