A 42-year-old Florida woman was hospitalized after a pygmy rattlesnake bit her twice at Lowe’s hardware. The woman was in stable condition Tuesday night.

McDonald’s UK has redesigned their McFlurry dessert cups to avoid killing hedgehogs. The new cup has a lid that hedgehogs can’t get their furry little noggins stuck in.

Iowans Tim and Stacey Breon are working to breed a herd of miniature cows. The couple say they are raising them to act more like pets than herd animals. The benefits of mini-cows include being able to raise three animals on the same space as one full-sized cow, and the cows mature quicker so they can be slaughtered soon.
