Milford, Connecticut, police arrested a 44-year-old woman Tuesday for operating an ice cream truck while intoxicated. Before her arrest the woman allegedly nearly ran someone over and fell out of the truck when approached by police.

A murder defendant in Boston was so unhappy with his lawyer’s performance he tried to strangle him in court. It took several officers to separate the 250-pound man from his shocked attorney’s throat.

Man dead after high-speed fall from truck’s bumper

A 23-year-old man who climbed on a highway cleaning truck in a bowling-alley parking lot was killed after falling from the vehicle on Interstate 80. The truck had reached 70 miles per hour when the man fell off. Several cars immediately ran over the victim’s body when it struck the pavement.

Harry Potter’s flying car found at castle

The flying car used in the series of Harry Potter films which was stolen last fall has been discovered abandoned at Carn Brae Castle in Cornwall. The people who took it apparently became frustrated after having difficulty selling the enchanted vehicle and flew it to the castle to dispose of it. The car was in storage when it was stolen and the theft was made more difficult because the 1962 Ford Anglia has no engine.
