Milford, Connecticut, police arrested a 44-year-old woman Tuesday for operating an ice cream truck while intoxicated. Before her arrest the woman allegedly nearly ran someone over and fell out of the truck when approached by police.

A water utility has informed Zippo’s circus that they face heavy fines if their clowns continue to throw buckets of water on each other during drought restrictions. The clowns are also forbidden from squirting with phony flowers on their lapels.

As WLKY reporter Ben Jackey was reporting from an intersection where an auto accident had happened two more vehicles collided on camera. No one appeared to be hurt in the second accident.

A murder defendant in Boston was so unhappy with his lawyer’s performance he tried to strangle him in court. It took several officers to separate the 250-pound man from his shocked attorney’s throat.

Two models of First Alert smoke detectors are incompatible with Duracell 9 volt batteries and could cause the battery to leak or explode. The faulty smoke detectors are First Alert’s BRK brand with model numbers 4120B and 4120SB.

A 23-year-old man who climbed on a highway cleaning truck in a bowling-alley parking lot was killed after falling from the vehicle on Interstate 80. The truck had reached 70 miles per hour when the man fell off. Several cars immediately ran over the victim’s body when it struck the pavement.

The flying car used in the series of Harry Potter films which was stolen last fall has been discovered abandoned at Carn Brae Castle in Cornwall. The people who took it apparently became frustrated after having difficulty selling the enchanted vehicle and flew it to the castle to dispose of it. The car was in storage when it was stolen and the theft was made more difficult because the 1962 Ford Anglia has no engine.
