A doctor from the University of Washington Medical School was killed when he was dragged from his canoe in Botswana by a crocodile. The doctor’s wife witnessed the attack from a separate canoe. The doctor and his wife had moved to Botswana to help treat patients in a country that suffers the world’s highest rate of AIDS infection.

A Virginia high school teacher was arrested Monday after allegedly giving one of his students marijuana. According to police, the teacher gave a student a small amount of pot last Friday. The student, instead of smoking it, gave the pot to a school security officer.

By using roaming minutes for 51% or more of calls for three months, most carriers will drop you as a customer because you are costing them more money than they’re making. A 62-year-old Bainbridge, Georgia, man has been charged with bestiality and animal cruelty for allegedly having an intimate romp with a pig. The local District Attorney says he’s never seen a case like this before. The accused faces up to ten years in prison if convicted. source
