The Environmental Protection Agency is forcing the Blommer Chocolate factory in Chicago to install expensive equipment to keep its emissions from smelling too chocolatey. Many area residents actually love the rich smell near the plant and wonder why the EPA would prioritize a project like this.

Sam, holder of the world’s ugliest dog title, has died at the age of 14. Sam’s owner was reluctant to adopt the dog six years ago but fell in love with the pooch. Her boyfriend at the time left her because the dog was so repulsive.

A Louisiana woman phoned 911 Wednesday night to report that she had been served cold onion rings. She told police the food was cold when she received it and the attendant refused to replace it with a new order. The woman was arrested and faces a December court date for misuse of the 911 system.
