A North Dakota woman will appear in court on April 18 after being accused of stealing two puppies from a pet shop and dying their fur purple and blue. Both dogs have been sold and are already back to their normal color.

A Quantas Airways baggage handler is under investigation after it was discovered he put on a camel costume he found in a passenger’s luggage and ran around the tarmac. The baggage handler was identified on closed-circuit television and faces disciplinary action that could include dismissal.

Harvard Professor Accused of Attempted Manure Theft

A Harvard University professor was charged with misdemeanor larceny and trespassing for allegedly trying to steal manure from a horse farm last Friday. The horse farm uses the manure as fertilizer or sells it for $35 per truckload.

The late pope John Paul II has died and is reborn with superpowers as the Incredible Popeman in a new comic book to be published in Colombia. Colombian artist Rodolfo Leon, an admirerer of John Paull II, has been working on the comic book for about a year. Leon also plans to produce action figures.

Golfer Jesper Parnevik arrived at the Masters tournament without his clubs after he forgot to pack them for the trip to Augusta. “If you knew our family you would understand,” said the Swede. Parnevik played with borrowed golf clubs while a private jet went to Florida to pick up his usual ones.

A lactating woman in Myanmar is voluntarily breastfeeding a pair of endangered Bengal tiger cubs at a Yangon zoo. The cubs were separated from their mother because she is too aggressive and actually killed a third cub from the litter.

Scientists cure mice that are allergic to cats

A new chemical compound may provide an effective treatment for cat allergies. In mice that were bred to be allergic to cats, the compund shut down the histamine reaction that caused the uncomfortable symptoms of cat allergies such as runny eyes, sneezing and itching. The compund consists of a mix of cat and human genes.
