Major news outlets are scoffing at Tom Cruise’s convenient new relationship with Katie Holmes on the eve of his upcoming summer movie War of the Worlds. The difference between this sham relationship and previous ones seems to be that he couldn’t turn to his costar in the movie because she’s only 11-years-old.

Two men who claimed on national television interviews that they found buried treasure were arrested Friday and charged with receiving stolen property, conspiracy and accessory after the fact. Investigators believe the men found the old bank notes and bills while doing roofing work and made up their story to keep the money.

The manager health authoritiex he sliced skin from the thumb while shredding lettuce and sanitized the area but didn’t throw away the bin of lettuce used on the their sandwiches.

A New York judge issued an arrest warrant on Monday for actress Natasha Lyonne, who failed to appear for a court hearing on charges stemming from a rampage during which she threatened to sexually molest a neighbor’s dog. Lyonne is known for appearing in films such as “Blade: Trinity” and “American Pie.”

London Marathon winner Paula Radcliffe apologized for defecating on the side of the road at the 22-mile mark of the race. The win marked her third victory in the London Marathon.
