Beauticians in Australia are offering sphincter bleaching to their beauty obsessed customers. The product is a whitener applied to the dark pigmentation around women’s rectums as well as to their vaginal areas.

Four days after after losing his hands and one foot in a freak basketball accident, an Australian boy is recovering with some movement in his reattached limbs. Three surgical teams worked simultaneously to reattached the three limbs. The boy’s injuries have prompted an architects’ group to push for an end to deaths and devastating injuries resulting from poorly mounted basketball backboards.

A court has ordered Sony to stop selling the Playstation 2 because it infringes on another company’s patent. The ban, which covers the PlayStation and PlayStation 2, two game controllers and 47 software titles will not go into effect until after Sony appeals the ruling.

Albany, New York, radio station WQHT FM has cancelled a contest it had planned which featured women slapping each other across the face. The state athletic commission warned the station that its “Smackfest” was an illegal boxing match, a criminal misdemeanor in New York, carrying a possible $10,000 fine. The slapping was known to sometimes draw blood from contestants.

A 39-year-old woman bit into a human finger while eating chili at a Wendy’s fast food restaurant in San Jose, California. Health officials say the woman shouldn’t suffer any ill effects because the finger was safely cooked at 170 degrees in the chili.

Singer Whitney Houston checked herself back into a drug-rehabilitation clinic, according to the Associated Press. The 41-year-old Grammy winner spent five days in rehab a year earlier. Three years ago, she confessed in an interview that she had abused cocaine, marijuana and prescription drugs.
