An Indiana State Police trooper found a bag of crack cocaine while trying to change a baby’s diaper. The crack, worth around $140,000, was discovered during a routine traffic stop last summer. The infant’s father now contends the diaper change was an illegal search.

Florida’s motorcycle fatalities rose by about 42 percent after lawmakers repealed a law requiring riders to wear a helmet. The study also found injuries have become more serious and more expensive to treat since only about half of motorcyclists now wear a helmet.
