American Airlines finds providing security annoying
The CEO of American Airlines, Donald Carty claimed Friday that another terrorist attack against commercial airlines is unlikely and urged that some security measures added at airports since September 11 be dropped.
Carty made the idiotic remarks in Japan, explaining that some of the procedures are “more trouble than they’re worth”.
That Carty would step up to announce that providing security is too much of a bother is breathtaking. Less than a year ago two of the company’s passenger-filled planes were used as giant flying bombs on American landmarks.
13-year-old spends $2 million on eBay
A 13-year-old boy at Beaver Middle School in Rogers, Ohio, purchased over $2 million worth of merchandise on eBay while in science class. The items include a helicopter, motorcycles, and a jet. He made the purchases using the password of one of his mother’s friends.
The student is under investigation by the juvenile justice system and the school is considering discipline as well.
Man’s ass no match for bulletproof glass
Authorities in Hillsboro, Missouri, have charged 21-year-old Garrette Bellew with second-degree property damage for trying to break a bulletproof window with his bare ass.
Bellew was awaiting trial for first-degree burglary when he dropped trou and threw his rear at a door. Unfortuantely for him, a guard was on the other side.
The new charge could net him a fine up to a thousand dollars and a year in jail.

Man dies parachuting from TV tower
An unidentified man died this morning after jumping with a parachute from a television tower. His name is being held until his next of kin are notified.
Authorities think the man was involved in an activity called base jumping, which involves intelligence-impaired people parachuting from towers and other tall man-made structures.
