Dog meat smuggler arrested in Thailand

December 20, 2001 By: Kaboom! Category: Weird News No Comments →

Police officers in Bangkok, Thailand have arrested a 28-year-old man for smuggling nearly a quarter ton of dried dog meat. A 20 year-old Toledo University student has had to have a surgeon open his eyelids after another student glued them shut. The student fell asleep in his fraternity house on the sofa (not smart). When he woke up he had a receipt glued to his head and he couldn’t open one of his eyes.

He flagged down a police officer who drove him, with the receipt glued to his head, to the hospital. A surgeon used a scalpel to reopen his left eye. No stitches were needed but according to the student it looks messy.

The student who glued him faces felonious assault charges.
