Reporter surprised at arrest for smuggling M16 rifle onto airplane
A senior reporter for News of the World has been arrested after smuggling guns onto a plane at Gatwick airport in London for an investigation into airport security. Robert Kellaway was taken in for questioning after boarding a commerical jet armed with a replica M16 machine gun. Remarkably, News of the World said it was “astonished” at the decision to arrest Kellaway.
