Man who lost legs in smoldering pile of fruit juice waste suing Seneca
An Olympia, Washington court has ruled a man who lost both his legs when he fell into a smoldering pile of fruit juice waste can sue Seneca Foods Corporation and Milne Fruit Products, Incorporated, the companies that produced the waste. The plantiff was 16 when he fell into a pit of smoldering ash produced by rotting fruit waste. He was horribly burned and lost both legs below the knee.
