Rap music linked to risky behavior and STDs
A study published in the American Journal of Public Health links high exposure to rap music videos among black female adolescents to risky behavior and a higher incidence of sexually transmitted diseases. The study discovered these adolescents were twice as likely to have multiple sexual partners and more than 1.5 times as likely to acquire sexually transmitted disease, use drugs, and use alcohol.
