British dentists face prosecution for teeth whitening
British dentists have been warned that they face criminal prosecution under EU law if they use teeth-whitening treatments on their patients. Dentists face six months in jail or a £5,000 ($7,900 US) fine if they offer the treatment because it violates EU rules governing the supply of hydrogen peroxide bleach.
