Nicotine may help schizophrenics
University of Colorado scientists have discovered that the part of the brain that responds pleasurably to nicotine is the same part that doesn’t function in schizophrenics, a finding which may help researchers develop a cure for the disease. This may also help explain why 85% of schizophrenics are smokers.
