Civic leaders hope 60-foot-high lava lamp can save town
Civic leaders in Soap Lake, Washington, are hoping a planned 60-foot-high lava lamp in the center of town will restore its lustre as a tourist destination. Formerly, Soap Lake’s biggest attraction has been its medicial waters which are said to cure sheep parasites and snake bites.
