Bat spit may help stroke victims
A blood clot dissolving enzyme found in bat saliva may help stroke victims survive, and do it more safely than the currently used treatment, according to Australian researchers. The compound stops blood from clotting and is similar to a commercial clot-dissolving drug but is hundreds of times more powerful.
