Canadian protector of Saddam Hussein dies on Iraqi highway
A Canadian man who died when his truck rolled on an Iraqi highway had gone to the country to act as a human shield to protect Saddam Hussein against attack. The 72-year-old’s body is subject to the sanctions in place on Iraq so Canadian officials are working to get an exemption so it can be returned to Canada.
