A rerun of burning logs in a fireplace easily beat its TV ratings competition this year. The two-hour Christmas morning broadcast of Gracie Mansion’s fireplace set to Christmas music is a tradition for New Yorkers which returned to the air in 2001 after a 12-year absence.
