Restaurant delivery driver fired for not being Chinese
A UK mother has been awarded more than £2,000 after she was fired from her fast-food delivery job for not being Chinese. The woman told the employment tribunal that ruled for her: “They told me not to come in any more as they didn’t need me. When I asked why, they said ‘The Chinese people deliver now’.
