Woman next to highway struck and killed by tire
A woman who volunteered as a member of an “Adopt-A-Mile” highway cleaning crew in Manchester, Tennessee, was killed when she was struck in the chest by a tire that spun off a tandem trailer being towed by a pickup truck. No charge are anticipated as a result of the accident.
