Baby hippo seeks new mother
An appeal has gone out to find a new companion for a baby hippopotamus at the Dublin Zoo after the animal’s mother swallowed a tennis ball and died. There are very few female hippos in Ireland but money and letters of support from all over the country have been pouring in.
