Mayor pays prostitute to have sex with children
A convicted prostitute pleaded guilty Wednesday to state charges that she helped arrange sexual encounters between former Waterbury, Connecticut, Mayor Philip Giordano and her 9-year-old daughter and 11-year-old niece on about fifteen different occasions.
Giordano, a three-term mayor and a nominee for U.S. Senate in 2000, paid the woman $50 in exchange for oral sex with the children.
