New Zealand students unable to locate New Zealand
A study released today showed two out of three eight and nine-year-old New Zealanders couldn’t locate their own country on the globe.
An Education Ministry spokeswoman said most of the older students managed to place the country correctly. Only 40% of 12 and 13-year-olds were unable to locate the country.
