Whale jumps on boat, fisherman killed
Jerry Tibbs, 51, was killed when a whale leaped on his fishing boat, knocking him overboard.
Tibbs was one of four men returning from a fishing trip off the coast of California in a 23-foot boat. Tibbs, the captain, was thrown into rough seas and drowned. The other three men recovered were treated for hypothermia
