Man reaches 7000 feet attached to small helium balloons
Skydiver Mike Howard rose to 7,000 feet attached to a cluster of 300 helium balloons at the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta on Sunday.
He had hoped to reach 11,000 feet, a record, but a cloud limited ascent and he began to drift into air traffic lanes. To descend, Howard shot several balloons with an air pistol. Howard hopes to try again soon.
