Ship sails into Port of Seattle with dead whale stuck to bow
A container ship collided with a 40-foot gray whale and sailed into the Port of Seattle Friday with the whale’s dead carcass still stuck to the ship’s bow.
Authorities are not sure whether the ship ran into the whale and killed it, or the whale was already dead when the ship struck it. Also to be determined is how to remove the body and what to do with it.
