Woman pulls gun out of ass, kills cop
Minneapolis police may review how searches are handled after a woman managed to hide a gun from officers only to pull it out of her buttocks and start shooting. 35-year-old officer Melissa Schmidt was killed in the shootout along with the suspect, 60-year-old Martha Donald.
Schmidt and her partner had searched the woman prior to the incident but the normal patdown procedure doesn’t involve between the butt cheeks, where police believe the gun was hidden.
