Elderly woman squashed by performing bear
A 485-pound bear entertaining the elderly in a German retirement home sat on a 90-year-old and killed her, according to the manager of the home.
The brown bear named Nora, was entering the hall when she stumbled over the woman’s wheelchair and fell on her.
The owner of the home and the bear’s handler are in court facing chages of culpable manslaughter over the incident which occured in 2000.
