Funeral cancelled when dead guy phones home
Danny Spohn’s family went through Saturday believing he’d been killed by a freight train in Camp Douglas, Wisconsin. 37-year-old Spohn was seen near some railroad tracks a half hour before the railroad notified the Sheriff’s Department of a mangled body on the tracks. Spohn’s brother-in-law, Chris Squires, even identified the body as Spohn’s.
The next day, Danny Spohn heard about his supposed death and phoned home to his surprized family who had to cancel funeral arrangements.
