Careless photographer gored by bison
Paul Jocelyn, 37, of Albertville, Minn., sustained scrapes, bruises and a puncture wound to his thigh Saturday after a bison threw him several feet into the air in Yellowstone National Park. Jocelyn had approached within 15 feet of the animal to get a better photograph.
Criminal charges are pending against him for harassing wildlife. It is against the law to approach within 100 yards of bears or within 25 yards of other wildlife in Yellowstone.
