Car thief steals car to get to car theft hearing
Union City, New Jersey, police apprehended Victor Reyes, 27, Thursday after he stole a car to get to a court hearing where he was sentenced to six months in jail for a previous car theft.
Reyes left the car outside the courthouse with the key on the wheel in case anyone wanted to use it. Reyes will likely be charged with the additional car theft when his current jail term is up.
