Paralyzed teen sentenced to six years in prison
Paralyzed 16-year-old Christian L. Skinner was sentenced Tuesday to the minimum six years in adult prison for using a gun to try to rob a Dayton, Ohio, pawnshop.
Skinner was shot during a struggle with an off-duty policeman during the robbery, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down.
A juvenile court judge ordered Skinner tried as an adult and he pleaded guilty to four counts of aggravated robbery with a firearm.
