Football player charged with pooping in student’s closet
Najeh Davenport, fullback for the Greenbay Packers football team and former University of Miami player, was arrested Monday for breaking into a University of Miami dormitory and defecating in a woman’s closet.
Mary McCarthy, who was asleep in the room, says she was startled by a strange sound and saw Davenport squatting in her closet. Davenport then allegedly defecated in a laundry basket.
Davenport was released from jail Monday after posting a $6,500 bond. If convicted, he could be sentenced to up to 15 years in prison.
