Asia Portis, 19, found a rust-encrusted hand grenade near the St. Simons Island Lighthouse in Georgia early Monday morning. Portis was so impressed with her find she took it to work to show others at the Auto Zone.

Portis finally contacted police who summoned an ordnance team from Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base who took the live grenade to a safe disposal site.
