Boozing Idaho firefighters sent home
A Idaho firefighting crew was sent home after five of the 20 members were caught drinking beer at a base camp in southwestern Colorado.
Four of the five were too young to drink legally and alcohol is banned by regulation for all firefighters in the camps.
All five were either fired or forced to resign after being caught the night of June 10 at the base camp for the Missionary Ridge fire. Because only full crews can work the fires, all 20 of the members were sent home.
