Sleeping juror causes mistrial in murder case
Wyandotte County District Judge John J. McNally dismissed a female juror Wednesday in a first-degree murder trial because she could not stay awake. The Kansas City, Kansas, trial was in its third day but had to be declared a mistrial because no alternate jurors were available. A new trial is scheduled for August 19th.
