Man wants to open side-by-side barbecue restaurant and crematory
Frank Price is petitioning the Summerville, Georgia, City Council to allow him to open a crematory next to a barbecue stand he has built. The city council, however wants him to tear down the barbecue stand because it’s too close to the road. The two businesses would be in side-by-side structures on the northwest Georgia property.
City attorney Albert Palmour is concerned but says “if he can meet all the codes, I don’t see any reason in the world to prevent his building a structure as long as he complies with the law and he has a business license.”
