Sandra Day O’Connor inducted into Cowgirl Hall of Fame
Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor became the 159th inductee into the Cowgirl Hall of Fame Friday in Fort Worth, Texas. O’Connor joined four other women as this year’s inductees.
She grew up in a high-desert ranch on the Arizona-New Mexico border and learned to ride and shoot before she reached age eight. In 1981, President Ronald Reagan nominated her to become the first woman on the the Supreme Court.
