Kansas repeals law banning Asians from inheriting property
Congratulations to Kansas which has repealed a law which prohibited Asians from inheriting property. Most states with so-called “alien land” laws repealed them between 1940 and 1960. Similar laws are still in effect only in New Mexico and Florida.
