Deer gives teacher a black eye
School teacher Lesley Stanford says she never saw the buck coming and thought a bomb had gone off. Why? Well, she was knocked unconscious when a deer busted through crowds at a Memorial Day parade in Mill Valley, California.
Stanford was treated at a hospital for bruised ribs and kidneys and a big shiner. The deer, refusing treatment, ran back into the woods.
