Hippo capsizes canoe, 11 dead
Eleven people, mostly women and children, in Blantyre, Malawi, drowned when the canoe they were riding in was capsized by a hippo.
Three women, including one with a baby strapped to her back, made it to shore. The group was returning from a trip to buy fish.
