Panhandlers - Brought to You by Sumaato Advertising
As if advertising on the sides of soft-drink cans weren’t offensive enough, a Denver, Colorado, advertising company is creating a furor by handing out signs to panhandlers. The signs have messages on them like “At Least I’m Not Spamming Your E-Mail” and “Hell, it Beats a Cubicle.”
The beggars aren’t getting paid for holding the signs even though they have a small ad for Sumaato Advertising on them.
Homeless advocates think Sumaato is taking advantage of the people and trivializing their plight.
