Seven boys and a teacher from a public junior high school in Miyagi Prefecture in Japan face charges after another schoolboy was brutally injured when the students shoved a metal rod in his butt to punish a badminton blunder. The teacher is charged with negligence for taking his lunch instead of watching the students. The boys are facing charges of inflicting bodily injury in the incident which took place last December.

The 16-year-old victim cannot function without an artificial anus.
