Saudi doctors perform first womb transplant
Saudi surgeons transplanted the womb from a 46-year-old woman into a 26-year-old woman in the first successful womb transplant. The recipient carried the new womb for 99 days before it had to be removed.
British surgeons plan to perform similar surgery soon.
