Policewoman’s gun goes off during show-and-tell
Philadelphia policewoman Vanessa Carter-Moragne, 39, a five-year veteran on the police force, passed around a loaded handgun among students during a show-and-tell at a school. The weapon discharged, grazing the face of 10-year-old fourth grader, James Reeves.The boy received five stitches and went home. Officer Carter-Moragne has been removed from street duty and is the subject of an Internal Affairs Investigation.
