Airborne pays out millions due to phony cold-cure claims
The company that makes the over the counter supplement Airborne, is paying out over $23 million because it made bull***t claims that its product actually worked to treat colds. The investigation into the company intensified after it was learned that research the company had touted was performed by a couple of people with no credentials… at all! Airborne didn’t change their advertising to drop the phony claims until a lawsuit was filed in 2006. Link
